About the Role
The Principal Enterprise Architect will join a global team of digital business builders. You will bring success to our clients by fulfilling business objectives through effective utilization of technology. This client-facing position is part of our Professional Services Organization at 3GC. This is a senior information technology position that provides oversight of all technical operations between the client and 3GC. In addition, the role serves as a strategic advisor providing guidance to the client from a business perspective. You and the account manager will be responsible for the success of the client and our relationship with them. This role requires both technical expertise and business acumen. The ability to effectively communicate with executives while also leading technical discussions will be a defining characteristic of the candidate.
Responsibilities
Provide oversight and effective execution of the client contract
Serve as liaison between company executives, your technology team and 3GC resources
Analyze and provide feedback on current state and long-term strategy for optimized IT and business operations
Guidance on existing applications, infrastructure, budget, risks, and utilization
Build a culture where IT is a business “enabler”
Organizational Change Management guidance
Design & Architecture
Assist in IT project prioritization
IT vendor guidance and/or management
IT maturity assessment and growth
Serve as a point of escalation for the client and 3GC
Ensure effective delivery of onsite and remote support services
Facilitate discovery sessions; surface and analyze business requirements and ensure alignment with business strategies
Provide technical guidance for the design, construction, configuration, and maintenance of client solutions
Ensure development of accurate engineering documentation including design plans, implementation guides, knowledge guides, and standard operating procedures
Accountable for effective business continuity and disaster recovery preparedness
Provide guidance and take ownership as necessary to ensure security and legal requirements are met
Facilitate end-user training on new/existing systems
Requirements
10+ years of progressive work with at least 3+ years of technical leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree required in technology or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-organizational, enterprise programs and projects utilizing internal and external resources
Comfortable presenting and communicating across all levels of the organization in an effective, situationally appropriate, clear, and high-quality manner
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the organization
Strong business acumen and equally skilled across the technology landscape
Capable of strong individual contribution and influence across non-direct reporting teams
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
Ability to maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments; prioritize tasks across multiple projects
Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment, orchestrating strategic and complex business activity
Excellent people skills with ability to handle difficult personnel situations
Strong customer service/client facing skills.
Strong troubleshooting skills
