Finance Manager - PH

About The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Manager is a key functional expert in the organization and is responsible for all corporate finance and accounting activities. This includes consolidating financial results, monthly forecasting, and managing the Annual Operating Plan. This role will lead through influence and provide guidance, support, and assistance to the Business Unit finance teams.
In addition, the Finance Manager will be relied on by the CFO and Executive Leadership Team to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the financials as well as speed and efficiency of data management, financial reporting, and continuous improvement in data analytics and reporting.
Responsibilities
In this role, you'll get to...
oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures
prepare quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting
create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts
provide all necessary information to outside accountants in conjunction with the filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for the business and trusts
develop recommendations and implement improvements to internal controls processes striving to build a more robust Accounting and Finance department
participate as a strategic business partner on cross-functional teams to help drive organization efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement
provide accounting and financial guidance to Operating Companies and CFO including developing accounting talent in the organization
perform other duties related to the role
Requirements
On day one, we'll expect you to...
have 5-10 years of progressive financial experience
be an expert in Quickbooks Enterprise or Quickbooks Online
have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties
be willing to install next generation endpoint protection on the computer
be a current resident of the Philippines and can perform work from there
be willing to work during US Pacific business hours (8am-5pm PST which corresponds to 11pm-8am PH time, if DST)
be willing to work up to 30 hours a week, can turn into 40 hours work week later on
