Compensation: $60-80k base salary with commissions reach $250k total comp at plan.

3GC's enterprise sales is very different from the traditional monthly quota product based sales. We focus on building relationships with our clients and maintaining them. We provide consultative solutions instead of selling products. Instead of selling you will be managing accounts and taking a central role in a team geared to helping our clients succeed. But it does come with a set of challenges.
Global Timezones: Many of our clients have global presence. This means meetings and conference calls in odd hours of the day and night.
Business Understanding: The solutions we design for our clients are not simple. It requires a deep understanding of both technology and business concepts for maximum results. You will need to learn business operations, finance, human resources and other business functions as well as how they all integrate into worklows and business processes around the technologies we sell.
Win/Win Mentality: When providing consultative solutions for our clients, you have to think win/win. We are not selling products to our clients, we're helping them solve issues. At the end of the day, if what we're doing does not help the client, then we have to ditch the sale or the client. It's a different mentality then just selling a product to whomever will buy. It's hard for sales people to change the mode of mind.
Customer Service: You are in charge of the account and the relationship. In essence, you are the customer service supervisor for this account, the service buck stops with you. Although you will have a service department as well as engineering resources, sales engineers and project managers to back you, the relationship will be your responsibility. You will need to overcome your desire to sell the account and then hand it over to service. You will have to remain in maintaining the account
Flat Organization: We do not have the typical top down management style of other VAR's. Many of our employees play multiple roles for our organization and we expect the same from you. Without the normal management structures, it may seem chaotic for some people.
As our services and products are solutions based, this position is not the typical "sales" position. Based mainly on the educational approach to consultative sales, die hard "salesmen" need not apply.
