Being the “ground floor” to enterprise sales is very different from the traditional monthly quota product based sales and lead generation.  We focus on building relationships with our clients and maintaining them.  We provide consultative solutions instead of selling products.  You will be the catalyst to our outside sales team, allowing them to provide the appropriate solutions to help our clients succeed.

But it does come with a set of challenges:

Challenges:

Business understanding: the solutions we design for our clients are not simple.  It requires a deep understanding of both technology and business concepts for maximum results. You will need to learn business operations, finance, human resources and other business functions as well as how they all integrate into worklows and business processes around the technologies we sell.
Win/ Win mentality: when providing consultative solutions for our clients, you have to think win/win.  We are not selling products to our clients, we’re helping them solve issues.  At the end of the day, if what we’re doing does not help the client, then we have to ditch the sale or the client.  It’s a different mentality then just selling a product to whomever will buy.  It’s hard for sales people to change the mode of mind.
Multi-tasking and Time management:  You will not be micromanaged in your activities, so time management and multi-tasking will be a challenge.   Because 3GC Group has numerous marketing campaigns going on at any given time, you will be required to organize your call lists and documentation in a way that allows you to make calls in the most efficient way.
Farming vs. Cold Calling:  We are not selling products, we are developing relationships with longterm prospects.  You will be farming these relationships with prospects over a longer period of time utilizing our internal research and marketing campaigns to setup appointments for our Enterprise Account Executives with the overall goal to help 3GC develop a longterm relationship.   
Politics:  These are not simple sales to proprietors.  You will need to know how to play in teams for the sales process as well as learn how to sell to departments and multiple decision making committees.  There is a lot of politics you need to play with different personalities and different job roles.

Here is what we are looking for.  Qualified applicants must have:
2 or 4 year degree
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in inside sales or sales engineering support postions for high end technical products and services. 
Expert knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Powerpoint as well as Visio is a must.  
Excellent attention to detail skills
Be self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties include:
Research prospective companies over the internet using various tools
Making calls to prospects based on interest in our marketing campaigns (this is warm-calling )
Get involved with marketing department to design custom campaigns. Conduct inside sales calls into our established client base
Train and pass sales certifications on cutting edge technologies
Assist with designing solutions
Put together quotes and sales presentations

Start Date:  ASAP

Compensation: $40-$60k base salary with commissions reach $70-100k total comp at plan.
